Who we are 

Kronos Real Estate Group is a real estate group that develops residential projects for sale through the Kronos Homes brand, residential developments for rent (build to rent) through the STAY brand and the development of commercial and leisure spaces through the WAY brand.

Since 2014, we have been promoting real estate projects in Spain and Portugal, led by a management team with a long track record in the sector with more than €18 millions in real estate transactions and 100,000 units under management.

Who we are

Kronos Real Estate Group is an Iberian developer, asset manager and investor. We focus on development through our recognized brands (i) Kronos Homes, (residential build to sell), (ii) STAY (residential build to rent),  and (iii) WAY (retail parks).

We are led by a management team with an extensive track record in the sector, that has executed over €18 millions in real estate transactions and 100,000 units under management.

PARTNER & CEO

Saïd Hejal

Saïd has 16 years of experience in the real estate sector, where he has invested and advised on transactions worth in excess of four billion euros, of which two billion have been in the Iberian Peninsula. Prior to founding Kronos, he worked for Morgan Stanley in New York and Fortress in New York and London.

Saïd holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia University.

PARTNER

Ignacio Ocejo

With a 28-year career in real estate, Ignacio has managed investments worth over 6.5 billion euros, built more than 350,000 m2 of rental assets and developed upward of 58,000 residential units in Spain and Portugal. A career shaped by his experience at Metrovacesa, Grupo Lar where he was General Manager in Spain from 2006 to 2014, before joining  Kronos as a partner.

Ignacio holds a degree in Economics from the University of Alcalá.

Manuel Holgado

A partner at Kronos since its inception, Manuel has 18 years of professional experience in the real estate sector in companies that include Morgan Stanley and Grupo Lar. He has managed investments of more than 4 billion euros and has developed upward of 12,000 residential units in Spain, Portugal and Brazil.

Manuel holds a degree in Economics, Law and Business Administration from the Carlos III University of Madrid.

PARTNER

Rui Ferreira

In his 25 years of experience within companies such as BBV Inmobiliaria, Ferrovial and Grupo Lar, holding senior positions of responsibility for the business, Rui has developed 20,000 residential units and hotels and managed over 5 billion euros in real estate assets. In addition, Rui has been an advisor to several real estate and hotel investment and development companies. He joined Kronos as a partner in 2018.

Rui holds a degree in Business Administration from the Lisbon Higher Institute of Management and a postgraduate degree in Administrative Law and Political Science from the University of Lisbon, as well as an Executive Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the IESE/AESE Business School.

PARTNER

Line Kassar

Line has developed her professional career in two main sectors: the financial sector, as a Capital Markets specialist at Morgan Stanley; and in non-profit organizations, as a member of the board of directors of the Chronic Care Center and the Lebanese Heritage Foundation.

Line holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia University.

GENERAL MANAGER CONSTRUCTION

Jorge Fernández-Renau

Jorge built his 28 years career as a Constructor Manager in the construction sector, in companies such as Corviam, Comsa Corporation and Eurofinsa. He has managed contracts worth more than 4.5 billion euros, in Civil Works and Building both in Spain and abroad.

Jorge holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Management Development Program from the IESE Business School.

GENERAL MANAGER BUILD TO RENT

Carlos Rodríguez-Bailón

Carlos has managed real estate investment portfolios worth over €1.4 billion for 14 years in companies such as Grupo Larand Azora, where he was in charge of 12,000 units as Commercial Director of the company. Carlos joined Kronos in 2017.

Carlos holds a Law Degree from the University of Granada, a Master's Degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate from the IPE in Malaga and a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management (MBA) from the IE Business School in Madrid.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Óscar Herráez

Óscar created Grupo Lar's financial department in Mexico, Brazil, Peru and Colombia. He was also responsible for designing and implementing financial reporting procedures, policies and management tools for accounting, treasury, management control, tax planning and internal and external audits for more than 125 subsidiary companies of Grupo Lar. In 2015 he joined Kronos as Chief Financial Officer.                                                                                                                                     

Óscar holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Carlos III University of Madrid.

TERTIARY MANAGER

Beatriz Moreno-Luque

Beatriz has more than 12 years of experience in the real estate sector, during which she has held the position of Development Manager and Senior Asset Manager at the LAR Group, coordinating the development and management of some of its commercial assets.

Previously, she worked in companies such as KPMG, in the Corporate Finance division, M&A and Real Estate; and Aguirre Newman, in the fields of Real Estate Valuation and Capital Markets.  

Beatriz holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Oviedo; an MBA and a diploma in Project Management and Administration from ADM Business School; a Master in Real Estate Consulting from Aguirre Newman and an International Master in Real Estate Sciences (RICS) from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Nottingham Trent University.

LEGAL DIRECTOR

Belén Molina

Belén has extensive experience in management and administration of investment funds and investment structures, commercial and real estate law, gained in companies such as Barclays Bank and Deloitte. In 2015 she joined Kronos as Director of the legal department.

Belén holds a Law Degree from University Center Villanueva (Complutense University of Madrid) and a Master's Degree in Corporate Legal Counseling from the IE Business School.

CORPORATE DIRECTOR

Pablo Mouzo

Pablo’s professional background is in auditing thanks to his experience at E&Y in Spain and Luxembourg, where he worked as an Audit and Financial Reporting Manager. In addition, he prepared statutory and consolidated financial statements in accordance with both Luxembourg and Spanish law. Pablo joined Kronos in 2021.

Pablo holds a degree in Finance and Accounting from the Carlos III University in Madrid and a Master's Degree in Auditing and Accounting from the Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE).

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

Bárbara Espejo

Bárbara has 15 years of experience in the field of communications. During her 10 years at Llorente & Cuenca (LLYC), she advised companies from various sectors on their corporate positioning and CEO reputation challenges.

She previously worked as a journalist for TVE, Telecinco, Cadena Ser and as a correspondent in Madrid for the Portuguese television station SIC.

Bárbara holds a degree in Information Sciences, specialized in journalism, from the Complutense University of Madrid and a degree from the Villanueva University Center in audiovisual media: press, radio and television.

INVESTOR RELATIONS

Carolina Aranda

Carolina developed her professional career at Deloitte Real Estate, providing financial advice to national and international investment funds, Spanish Real Estate Investment Trusts (Socimis), developers, private equity and capital managers focused on the Real Estate & Hospitality sector. She joined Kronos in 2021.

She has a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the Francisco de Vitoria University and has completed the Integral Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame (Mendoza College of Business) and the Francisco de Vitoria University.

Manuel Balmaseda

Manuel Balmaseda is the Chief Economist of CEMEX, a leading global building materials corporation. Previously, he was Chief Economist for Spain and Europe at BBVA, Chief Economist for Capital Markets at BBV, professor of economics at CEMFI and researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. He has also taught at the IESE Business School in Madrid, the EOI (School of Industrial Organization) in Madrid and the Helsinki School of Economics.

He works with the IMF, the EU Commission, the OECD, the South American General Secretariat and other private organizations. He holds a PhD, an M.A. in economics from Northwestern University and a B.A. in Economics, Government and Mathematics-Science from Colby College.

Nathalie Piquot

Nathalie is a specialist in digital business development, marketing and sales. Since March 2021, she has been Global Head of Corporate Marketing, Brand Experience and Digital Engagement at Banco Santander. Previously, she was CEO of Twitter Spain and Portugal and has held various management positions at Google Spain and companies such as AdLINK, DoubleClick or the International Herald Tribune in business and sales related positions.

Nathalie holds a Master's degree in Government and International Relations from Cornell University and a Master's degree in Strategy Development and Sustainable Competitive Advantage from the Harvard Business School.

Juan Cardona

Juan is a leadership, corporate reputation and ESG consultant with more than 25 years of professional experience in organizations such as LLYC, Corporate Excellence and Ferrovial, working for CEOS and multinationals from different sectors in change and transformation processes. He has been a member of the State Council for Corporate Social Responsibility (CERSE), Director of the Corporate Reputation Forum, member of the Board of Directors of the Global Compact in Spain, of the Board of Directors of Forética, the Corporate Social Responsibility Commission of the CEOE and the Ethics Working Group of AENOR.

Juan holds a degree in Information Sciences from the University of Navarra.
